Description

Letrozole (Femara) is the most powerful nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. It is one of the three most frequently utilized aromatase inhibitors (the other two being Arimidex – nonsteroidal and Aromasin – steroidal) by steroid users to reduce estrogen related adverse effects.

Water retention, elevated blood pressure, and gynecomastia are significant problems for users of popular aromatizing steroids like Testosterone and Dianabol.

Letrozole (Femara)

Letrozole, like other AIs we consider for use with anabolic steroids, was designed to treat postmenopausal breast cancer.

Letrozole Design

The reason it is exclusively utilized in premenopausal women is because it is highly estrogen blocking, which is attractive to male steroid users who want to fight the negative effects of estrogen while taking aromatizing steroids.

Letrozole works by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme. Unlike SERMs, which exclusively target particular regions of the body. This enables Letrozole to fight more estrogenic steroid adverse effects, including gynecomastia and water retention. This will also help avoid high blood pressure caused by increased water retention.

Gynecomastia and Estrogen Control with Letrozole

Letrozole is such a potent AI and effective at regulating estrogen that some steroid users have reported effectively reversing gyno. Even so, it is always better to avoid gyno than to rely on a medication to cure it, since although some individuals may have success with Letrozole, others may discover that advanced gyno is still not reversible without surgery.

Unlike SERM medicines which target particular receptors and are most helpful for treating gyno – Letrozole is also strong for managing water retention, which is the second major side effect of steroid usage that we all wish to avoid.

Because Letrozole is presently the most potent AI available, you may anticipate a significant reduction in estrogen levels. In fact, it may cause low estrogen levels (yes, this can be an issue for men as we do require some small amount of estrogen for normal functioning). With an AI, your primary goal throughout a steroid cycle is to decrease the estrogenic adverse effects that are virtually likely to occur while taking aromatizing steroids.

Because Letrozole prevents water retention, your body will look more tougher, drier, and ripped. This makes Letrozole ideal for competitive bodybuilders who aim to reduce fluid retention as much as possible.

Dosage of Letrozole

Letrozole is a powerful medication even at low dosages, so you don’t need much to get the full benefits. We may take Letrozole at a comparable or even lower dosage than the medical dose, unlike many other AIs or SERMs you could utilize as a steroid user.

Androstanes and Letrozole Dosing

Taking too much Letrozole when using steroids is counterproductive and causes side effects including tiredness. So keep a reasonable dosage.

We would look at no more than 2.5mg daily, and generally even lower. For most guys, a dosage of 0.5mg to 1.25mg every two days is sufficient to protect them against estrogen related adverse effects.

If you are seeing early indications of gynecomastia, raising the dosage to 2.5mg per day may help reverse the symptoms, but expect a significant drop in energy. After gyno symptoms diminish, lower your Letrozole dosage to normal estrogenic protection levels.

Letrozole is often found in tablet form, although it is also available in liquid form.

The dosage of Letrozole depends on its usage. For example, are you using it to treat or prevent breast cancer? Or do you use it for gynecomastia? Take between 0.25mg and 1mg every other day.

Remember that most pills or tablets are 2.5mg in potency. This may help cure gynecomastia in seven to fourteen days.

So, if you want to bulk out without getting breasts, the option is clear. Letrozole is the anti-estrogen.

Letrozole For Women

Female anabolic steroid users seldom need to worry about increasing Estrogen levels, but competitive bodybuilders who need to reduce water retention caused by Estrogen may need to take an aromatase inhibitor like Letrozole (Femara). Due to Letrozole’s potency, females should first try one of the other two main aromatase inhibitors before turning to Letrozole. Because aromatase inhibitors have been shown to reduce Estrogen levels in females much more than in men.

Remember that Letrozole is only authorized for usage in postmenopausal females, who have a significantly distinct hormonal shift than premenopausal females. Even in postmenopausal female breast cancer patients, Letrozole is used as a last option when all other therapies and medicines fail. Letrozole doses of 1.25mg every other day or once every two days should enough and in fact often become too much, in which case the individual may feel the need to adjust to either a lower dose or a lesser frequency of administration.

Letrozole Dosage for ETS and PCT (Post Cycle Therapy)

As previously stated, Letrozole may increase endogenous Testosterone production in males. This is due to the HPTA (Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis) negative feedback loop, where excess Estrogen in males may inhibit endogenous Testosterone production, causing hypogonadism. Many studies have shown that Letrozole in particular may increase Testosterone levels by lowering Estrogen. When an older man with poor endogenous androgen production was given Letrozole dosages, the research found that Testosterone levels were restored to normal physiological levels, and sexual function was restored. In this research, LH and FSH rose, but SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin) dropped. Gonadotropins LH and FSH stimulate the testes to start producing testosterone, whereas SHBG binds to androgens and inactivates them (in much the same way aromatase inhibitors will bind to the aromatase enzyme and render it inactive). The same research found Letrozole so efficient in lowering Estrogen levels in males that the test subjects’ Estrogen levels were undetectable.

These findings suggest that Letrozole might be a useful complement to the essential increases in Testosterone needed during the post-cycle weeks after anabolic steroid discontinuation. There is one problem with combining Letrozole with SERMs like Nolvadex and Clomid, which are recognized as important components of a PCT regimen. Arimidex has the same issue, while Aromasin does not (Exemestane). Worst of all, these two drugs directly compete with one another. One research found that using Letrozole with Nolvadex decreased the blood plasma levels of Letrozole (as well as Arimidex, another commonly used aromatase inhibitor).

Using Letrozole and Nolvadex together is a terrible idea. Letrozole’s function as a PCT component is restricted when combined with Nolvadex. Its usage with HCG may be more helpful, but it lacks the crucial component of a SERM for endogenous Testosterone activation. Unlike Letrozole, Aromasin’s efficacy has not been found to be decreased or abolished by Nolvadex in trials, making it a better option for PCT than Arimidex.
