The first oral anabolic steroid, methandrostenolone, was known as Dianabol.
Dianabol has been the most popular steroid in bodybuilding for almost 40 years. Dbol is often used in bulking cycles to assist users gain massive muscular mass and strength.
American doctor John Bosley Ziegler developed Dianabol in 1955. Ziegler worked with the US Olympic squad in Vienna a year before developing dianabol.
He met a Russian scientist at a nightclub who, after “a few drinks,” revealed that the Russian sportsmen were using exogenous testosterone.
It had previously excelled in weightlifting, winning three gold medals and establishing two world records in 1952.
Ziegler returned to the US to develop a chemical even more potent than testosterone to help beat the Russians. He would frequently be his own test subject, using steroids himself.
After successfully patenting their new miracle medication, Ziegler and CIBA (a Swiss pharmaceutical company) launched dianabol in the US in 1958.
Anabolic rating of more than twice that of testosterone, Ziegler’s steroid (210 vs 100).
In addition, it is not as androgenic as testosterone. Dr. Ziegler noticed that the Russian competitors had difficulties urinating at the 1956 Olympics in Australia. They have enlarged prostates owing to excessive testosterone to DHT conversion.
Dr. Ziegler wanted to develop a molecule that was both more anabolic and less androgenic than testosterone. He did it using dianabol, which has a 60 androgenic rating compared to testosterone’s 100.
Now that dianabol was widely accessible in the US, physicians were effectively treating individuals with hypogonadism (low testosterone levels due to malfunctioning testes).
Dianabol helped infertile men conceive children by balancing their hormones and increasing sperm count. A substantial rise in testosterone also improved their sexual and mental health.
Ziegler found that dianabol works by attaching to the androgen receptor, increasing glycogenolysis and protein synthesis, leading to increased muscle growth and strength (in a short space of time).
In medicine, dianabol was used to treat the elderly and individuals with serious burns, both of whom were vulnerable to muscle loss.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu, Lou Ferrigno, and other legendary bodybuilders (said to be) taking dianabol became famous in the late 1960s.
This ushered in the golden age of bodybuilding, when physiques grew in size while remaining attractive. This style is still desired today, with Arnold still being the darling of bodybuilders worldwide.
When bodybuilders wanted to grow larger and stronger in the 1960s and 1970s, they could easily go to their physicians and ask for dianabol (and other steroids). It was that easy; no one knew about the side effects, and they were completely legal, so bodybuilders didn’t mind.

Methandienone Side Effects
Gynecomastia develops when Methandienone is converted to methyl estradiol. Anti-estrogens like Nolvadex or Clomid are used to avoid this adverse effect. These medications nearly always prevent gynecomastia.
Toxic liver
Methandienone has a mild toxic impact on the liver due to the 17th methyl group. The methyl group prevents Danabol from being destroyed in the liver, allowing oral usage (orally). It also decreases Danabol’s sex hormone binding globulin binding.
Hydration
Methandienone has an estrogenic side effect. At the same time, fluid retention occurs mostly in the muscles, giving the appearance of more muscle. After finishing the methandrostenolone cycle, the body loses 10-50 percent of its weight. Anti-estrogens do not cause this.
Methandienone
In the absence of contraindications, this Methandienone cycle is appropriate for males over 21 years old (high blood pressure, heart disease, prostatic hypertrophy, liver disease, and some others).
A daily dosage of 30 mg is advised.
Methandienone 10 mg
After 2-3 days, the dosage is raised to 20 mg twice day.
Receive Nolvadex or Clomid on the same day. Nolvadex is taken in 10 mg doses, any time.
After 2-3 days, increase to 30 mg, split into 3 doses.
Reduce the Methandienone dosage to zero during the past week.
Nolvadex is received for 2 weeks, then cancelled.
Blood pressure must be monitored. If it rises, decrease the dosage or start taking antihypertensive medications.
In the final week of taking Danabol, a testosterone booster for 3-4 weeks may be added to the cycle to help speed up testosterone production and avoid the rollback effect.

It is advised to utilize sports nutrition and eat a diet to build muscle mass to maximize the impact and minimize muscle loss after the cycle.
